Meet ŠimonTwo paths · one goal
Practice after practice. Save after save. This is the journey of two brothers who chose the bravest place on the ice — and both are aiming high. One day, they will defend the colours of Czech Extraliga teams. They know that dreams alone do not win games. Their competition may have relentless discipline or a burning desire to succeed. Šimon and Kryštof have both — united by a passion for the crease that keeps driving them forward when others slow down. One day, they will be there. And when they arrive, they do not want to be just names on a roster, but role models for the next generation of Czech goalies.
Goalie · number 10
“He turned a late start into winning results through relentless work.”
Šimon started playing hockey later than most players his age. Through hard work, he caught up and, during the 2025/2026 season, consistently ranked among the leading goalies in the South Moravian Region. In spring 2026, he also competed in the 2014 Czech Extraliga tournament in Telč.
Goalie · number 2
“He brought his speed from open ice into the crease.”
Kryštof started out as a quick and skilful skater. But the crease kept drawing him in and, after plenty of persuasion, he committed fully to goaltending. Today, he continues to develop his movement, courage and natural feel for the game between the pipes.
Their journey
Both currently guard the net for HC Tygři Moutnice.
They also compete for the True Edge Academy and Hockey Revolution Academy select teams.
Together, they gain experience at goaltending camps across the Czech Republic.
Goaltending academy
Šimon and Kryštof are both members of the Team BHA goaltending academy.
Under Patrik Nechvátal’s guidance, they sharpen their technique, movement, reactions and decision-making. Everything they display in games is built here — every save begins with honest work at the academy.
The black-and-yellow jersey in these photographs means one thing: a Team BHA practice.
